There were two little ants named Mark and Teagen. The two little working ants were working for 17 hours straight. They realized that they had to take a break because it was time and their bodies were telling them so. So they sat on their tushes and took a breather. Mark and Teagen decided to enjoy the sunrise. After all they worked for so many hours without noticing their surroundings.
Little did they know that it was not a sunrise they were viewing but the top of a tennis ball. Mark and Teagen did not perceive it as a tennis ball. They took their previous experience of watching the sunrise and automatically assumed that what they saw was another sunrise. Perception is everything.
“Things are not always what they seem; the first appearance deceives many; the intelligence of a few perceives what has been carefully hidden.”
